A red brick Victorian building, the Bloomsbury Park Hotel Hotel is set on Southampton Row in historic Holborn, 300 meters from the British Museum. The building is the 1899 birthplace of John Barbirolli, Conductor Laureate of Britain's distinguished Halle Orchestra. The 95 guestrooms are decorated in neutral colors with modern pale wood furniture and patterned bedspreads and drapes. From Heathrow Airport:
From Heathrow Airport guests can take the Piccadilly line on the Underground (metro) to Russell Square Station. From there, turn left out of the Station and walk to the Russell Hotel. Turn left and the Bloomsbury Park Hotel is a few minutes' walk away on the left.
The extensive London Underground system (the Tube) connects the hotel with the rest of central London within 10 minutes. The Underground stations closest to the hotel are Holborn and Russell Square. There is also a wide choice of buses. The hotel can order black cabs on request.
